Plant Operations Editor Pan Demetrakakes will unveil the results of our 2019 Capital Spending Outlook, which tracks the past and projected capital budgets of 40 of the biggest public food and beverage companies – and projects an aggregate increase or cutback in spending for the entire industry. That leads into a discussion of what companies are spending on, including food safety, automation, software…some are even designing new plants.
