It looks like it's going to be a "good" year for capital spending; not a blockbuster one, but a year in which food and beverage companies spend an average of 8 percent more than they did last year. At least that's the projection from our annual Capital Spending Outlook, which chronicles the capex budgets of 45 of the largest firms...and profiles some of the biggest projects of the year.
